Isaiah 9:2 – The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.
Have you ever flipped the light switch only to get that dreaded flash of a bulb that just burned out? Just when you thought the room would be lit you learn that the dark will persevere. It is easy to take light for granted. At Christmas we put the lights on our trees and houses as we celebrate the Light who spoke light into existence and separated it from the darkness!
